Alice: Broken Looking Glass
Alice, now 13 (So 5 years after her initial trip to Wonderland) accidentally shatters the Looking Glass but after trying to fix it, she is sucked into Wonderland once more. However, she is now in a stranger, more twisted version of Wonderland. The rivers are crimson, flowing with blood. Many of the creatures have been twisted into more horrific versions of what they once were. And the kicker? It's all her fault. By breaking the Looking Glass, Alice gave the dreaded Red Queen control over madness itself. Alice confronts the Red Queen but the all powerful tyrant casts her out into the farthest reaches of Wonderland, splitting her up into 5 different versions of herself. She'll have to recollect herself as well before she'll ever be ready to take on The Red Queen

Goons
In 1940's Post-WWII New York, The Goons run the city. Not because they're the most cunning criminals on the streets or the biggest group. It's all about the gear. The Goons are armed to the teeth with weapons from a far distant future that make the Atom Bomb look like a firework. But these flashback crooks have more to worry about than money or keeping up appearances. They've got The Creepers to keep up with. Some sort of freakish monstrosity from the future, come back to get those weapons. And to make matters worse, there's a future cop gliding around somewhere, looking for the stolen future tech. All eyes are on the Goons now. Kill the Creepers, avoid Future Boy, run the city. It's Showtime.

Checkered Past
Boarderland is a world at war. A foolish pawn awakened the most ancient of evils and unleashed it upon the world. That evil has now consumed him and he is using its power to corrupt the many territories of The Grid. He's nearly won already. He stormed the white castle and he took the king. The prince watched that horrifying event but the king had one of his most loyal Bishops help him escape from the inferno that remained of the castle. Then...the prince disappeared. But he left a note. He told the king's loyal militant leaders to travel the Boarderlands and amass a new army. An army that could stand against this evil. He said that he himself has gone on a journey. One to make him stronger. And he prays that their own quest will do the same, stating at last that he will meet them again. Now, under the command of the leaders, travel the Boarderlands. Carry out the Prince's wish. Amass and army and eliminate the darkness.

Murder World
A number of murderers ranging from absolutely insane to quiet hitmen are dropped off in the middle of a world that is literally a giant amusement park. The theme? You guessed it. Murder. How do they get out? It seems a certain Park Manager has a task for them. Kill the more targets than the 'goody-two-shoes' can save. Once every target is either dead or rescued, the tally will be had. The losing party will be killed then and there. The succeeding party will be sent back home. Are you game? Oh, watch out for the death traps and park 'staff'. Seriously, they'll kill ya. Be a good guy or a psycho and get ready to fight fight fight!

Gear Heart
When an alien robot lands at the site of a camping trip, a number of the kids discover it and decide to keep it as their own little secret. The robot follows them and bonds with them at first...but then more robots start showing up and it's revealed that this cute little bot packs a serious wallop. Fend off the enemy robots, the government, and a mysterious man who follows the lot, all while trying to help this little robot, referred to as 'Shiny' find out what it's even doing on Earth.

Dragonfire Chapter 1: Avianites
The massive Nation where the flying reptiles dwell, Lucitanians have since taken a liking to befriending infant Dragons and raising them up to their fullest potential then having them battle one another in the Annual Dragon Cup to win the title of Supreme Dragon Master. But in the past five years, strange events have postponed the Dragon Cup such as the attack of the Sky Dragons, AKA Avianites and the Charring of the Great Valley by the Fire Dragons, AKA Infernites.

Fable Dark
When was the last time you read a nursery rhyme? Well this is what happens when you read from a book of nursery rhymes as told by the devil himself. This land is tainted. Years ago the first true sign turned up. It was The Wolf. Terrorizing good folk and running them off into hiding. Makin' em stay as far away from the forest as possible. Then came the bears. No normal bears either. Demon bears standing 15 feet tall with claws that can chop down trees. Soon even the sky was untouchable. The clouds became a world in itself. People made homes there...and then the giant turned up. Started killin' everything he saw. But there can't be darkness without light. That's where these kids come in. Pick a fairy tale character. Pick their enemy. Choose their destiny and fight to the end against the source of all the evil this land has to offer.

The Kids of Casper Lane
It's not secret that ghosts walk among us. At least, it's no secret to the ghosts. But yet we can't walk among them. Or can we? A group of young'ns get sucked up into the spirit world and fight endlessly for a way back. But there's more to these spirits than meets the eye. Some of .em ain't just ghosts. Some of 'em are demons. And one of 'em is mighty interested in findin' out just how a bunch of living beings found themselves in the land of the dead. He might be lookin' for his own way out.

Monster Business
There are cops, there are detectives, and then...there are Monster Investigators. Monsters are creatures with fascinating powers. But they are incapable of being tamed and impossible to predict. Whenever there's a problem with a monster, these are the guys to call. In the town of Chroma Falls, monsters are no rarity. They're constantly getting into town and its the job of people like this to make sure they either get gone or get axed. But still there are some who would look to have monsters as pets, those who don't understand these creatures at all but assume they can be kept...and then...there are those who would control monsters for other reasons. I'm sure you can guess what.

Well I'm a character oriented person. I do my storytelling through sequential character arcs so I take most of my time to work on the characters when it comes to larger RP's like this.

That's good! As most stories should be. Every great idea can be crippled by a poor cast. I wish i had the attention span to write it all out. I usually end up writing something , then i exit out by mistake and i just sigh in defeat.

That actually happened to me earlier today. But I just went back and re-did it anyway because I had nothing better to do.

And now I'm done with those.

Ahhh great! Yeah when it happens. I usally go back in and fix it. Edit them in different ways.

Sadly enough , i think maybe if at all...... i'd be one of the three or four people

*shrug* I'm okay with that. These RP's aren't really designed for mountains of people. Two or three others is fine by me.

Well i mean , usally a good 5-6 for for big rp's is good. For a small rp 3-4 is great. I just don't know how big this rp of yours will be of yours.

Monster Business will be going in the story RP section. (The first story takes place largely in one general location. Haven't decided yet if there'll be a lot of travel after the first major plot arc)

Funny enough Monster Business reminds me of this manga i just recently got into x3 which has me even more hyped up for the rp!

I'll just let this be the info thread of the RP's for now. Until they get expansive enough where they may require their own. So here's a bit more information regarding Monster Business.


The world of the series is a sort of parallel version of Earth, in which there is a steampunk appeal (That is explained in the post of my character thread). The continents and the like the comprise the world are generally the same but several historical events happened in drastically different ways. None removed just rewritten. Think of the world's current history being post-WWII. Also, Africa is barely habitable as it is TEEMING with monsters. As explained, Monsters are creatures of various shapes, sizes, colors, etcetera that have special powers. (See the list at the bottom)

Several years ago, a massive monster outbreak in The Americas led to the eventual formation of the Imperial Assault Force which began in England. The Imperial Assault Force eventually expanded and became a sub-branch of a global force entitled the PARAGON. It is the most prestigious branch and even has a school dedicated to training the young and exemplary into becoming the perfect soldiers and enforcers in Japan. Those who excel to the point of graduating this most grueling of schools are honored with the chance to become a member of the Imperial Assault Force. Under PARAGON, there are a number of other branches. The one you need concern yourself with for the moment is the Chroma Falls Defense Unit which is a newer branch in America on the East Coast.

The Chroma Falls Defense Unit is also broken up a bit into several divisions. The dominant of the lot being Division Alpha. Other noteworthy Divisions (For the story, anyway) are Beta, and Gamma.

On very rare occasions, individuals have rather peculiar abilities (Low Power Abilities Like Disappear, Infusing Weapons w/ Energy, or Bio-Electric Shock which is sciency speak for 'High End Static Electricity'). It isn't quite known where this sort of thing spawns but it is believed to usually be a mark that said person is destined for extraordinary things (Common Philosophy being that they have these abilities for a reason).

The rest of the major points will be explained in-game.

Monster generally are either just bizarre mutant-looking animal creatures or mythological beings like Dragons.

EDIT: This is clarification. You do not have to graduate from the Imperial Assault Force to be a part of Paragon except for if you intend to join the Imperial Assault Force (Which you cannot do in the RP). In other instances, the Imperial Academy really just "Makes the Resume look nice". So basically, it's optional whether or not you came from the Imperial Academy. You do no have to. In fact, there are at least 3 NPC's who become members of the Chroma Falls Defense Unit who didn't attend the Imperial Academy at all and I believe one who went but didn't graduate.

Also, PARAGON acts in mysterious ways. All branches and sub-branches are expected to act discretely. They are not to reveal that they are, in fact, members of PARAGON. (The Imperial Academy is isolated and its records are among the top most secure documents in existence so they don't have to worry about press leaks) In essence, members maintain a sort-of-kind-of secret identity though it's more like how a Spy has a cover.
