During these times , all the superstition that they had is true. Magic, dragons , goblins and ghouls even Meese! The Church was all powerful , why ? Because the priest posses holy powers , every knight was blessed to do exceptionally well in battle among other things. Mages , sages , were under the Church's order but , those that fled were hunted and persecuted. There is a reason it was called the dark ages , much of it's history goes unnoticed.
